Tradition, quality and sophistication are the attributes of Ramalhão, a traditional confectionery brand from Sintra that will continue to make history. The young Francisco D’Almeida and Patrícia D’Almeida continue the tradition of conventual pastry from Sintra, introducing a new concept to enhance the traditional pastry.
During 2019, Ramalhão expanded out of our borders and opened a pastry shop in Macau, where the most curious can observe the manufacture of this typical pastry from Sintra, before being delighted with the still warm pastry.
The traditional pastry from Sintra continue to attract visitors from all over the world, who surrender to the sweet charms of traditional queijadas and travesseiros, with more than eight centuries of history, based on the use of natural ingredients such as cheese, eggs, sugar and cinnamon.
A unique heritage to which Francisco D’Almeida and Patrícia D’Almeida want to give greater expression with the Ramalhão brand.
